iroo world Terms of Service

1. Service Description & AI Transparency​

iroo world is an AI-driven interactive fiction application whose story content is automatically generated by an AI content generation system.

1. iroo world currently uses or may use third-party AI providers, including Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude, OpenAI ChatGPT, and other comparable providers.
2. According to our current AI service providers' published API or commercial service policies, API-submitted customer data is not used to train their models without explicit consent. If provider policies materially change, iroo world will handle the change under the Privacy Policy update process.
3. All AI-generated storylines and character dialogues are fictional content and do not represent real persons, events, or the views of iroo world.
4. Due to current technological limitations, AI-generated content may contain inaccurate, unreasonable, or flawed content (AI hallucinations). iroo world is not responsible for its accuracy or completeness.
5. User-input prompts will influence the story direction, but do not guarantee specific story outcomes.
6. AI models will be updated with service upgrades, and their behavior may change accordingly.
7. You are interacting with AI virtual characters. All dialogue content is AI-generated, not from real humans.
8. EU AI Act Compliance: iroo world is an application using a general-purpose AI system. Specific capabilities and known limitations are listed in the appendix at the end of this agreement. iroo world does not qualify as a high-risk AI system and is not required to register in the EU database.

2. Account Registration & Age Requirements​

• You must be at least 13 years old (EU users must be at least 16 years old, or have parental consent) to register an account.
• A date of birth must be provided at registration; iroo world will reject obviously unreasonable dates of birth.

3. Intellectual Property​

3.1 AI-Generated Content (AIGC)​

• Copyright Ownership: All intellectual property rights and related rights in AI-generated story plots, content text, etc. (AIGC) within the iroo world platform belong to iroo world.
• License of Use: iroo world grants you only a non-exclusive, non-transferable, personal, non-commercial license to use such AI-generated content. You may not use AIGC for any commercial purpose without iroo world's written authorization.
• Prohibition of False Attribution: You may not claim to be the independent creator or copyright holder of AIGC in any way, publish, distribute, enter competitions with, commercially sell, or otherwise publicly disseminate AIGC under your own name, nor deliberately conceal the fact that the content was AI-generated.
• Infringement Disclaimer & Liability Allocation:
  • If your input settings or prompts directly or indirectly cause generated AIGC to infringe upon any third party's copyright or other legal rights, and you use such content for commercial purposes or unauthorized public profit, the resulting third-party claims, legal disputes, and liability for damages shall be fully borne by you, and you shall unconditionally indemnify iroo world for actual losses and reasonable costs incurred. For use limited to personal, non-commercial purposes, iroo world will primarily assist with "notice-and-takedown" measures.
  • If generated AIGC (not induced by your specific instructions) happens to be substantially similar to or infringe upon others' intellectual property rights, iroo world will promptly take remedial measures such as deletion, link-breaking, or takedown upon receiving a valid infringement notice from the right holder through proper legal procedures, but iroo world shall not be liable for any damages or joint liability for such infringement under applicable law.

3.2 User Original Input​

• The copyright of your original settings and prompts belongs to you.
• You grant iroo world a worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to store and use your input content for providing AI story generation services.

4. User Conduct Guidelines​

You are prohibited from the following when using iroo world:

1. Inputting prompts involving illegal content
2. Inputting prompts involving sexual depictions of minors
3. Inputting prompts promoting violence or terrorism
4. Inputting prompts infringing third-party intellectual property rights
5. Attempting to circumvent AI safety filtering mechanisms (Jailbreak)
6. Engaging in any conduct that violates applicable laws and regulations

Consequences of Violations & Law Enforcement Cooperation: iroo world reserves the right to take measures including warnings, content deletion, feature restrictions, or permanent account suspension for violations. iroo world reserves the right to monitor prompt compliance. For accounts that deliberately generate and disseminate seriously illegal/harmful content (such as terrorism, child pornography, etc.), iroo world reserves the right to preserve relevant evidence and submit it to national cybersecurity and law enforcement agencies in accordance with applicable law.

Proactive Content Management Right: iroo world reserves the right to proactively refuse to generate, suspend output, or delete any content it deems to violate this agreement, laws and regulations, or platform policies without requiring user reports and without prior notice. The exercise of this right shall not constitute any compensation obligation to the user.

5. Content Safety​

iroo world deploys a Content Filter system for bidirectional detection of AI-generated content (before user input, after AI output). Content categories intercepted by the filtering system include: pornography, violence/gore, hate speech, and discriminatory content.

Important Disclaimer & Due Diligence: iroo world commits to having taken industry-standard technical measures to make every effort to block the generation of illegal content. However, due to the unpredictability of artificial intelligence technology, we cannot guarantee that the safety filtering system is absolutely perfect. If the system occasionally fails to detect and outputs inappropriate content, this is not the intent of the iroo world platform. We shall not be liable for any indirect damages arising therefrom, but will take immediate action upon receiving your report. If you use specific prompts (such as Jailbreak techniques) to maliciously induce AI to generate harmful content involving violence, confidential information, subversion, or illegal activity, all related legal liability shall be independently borne by you personally.

Content Reporting: You can submit content issue feedback by clicking the "⚑ Report" button on any AI dialogue or story page. iroo world commits to processing your report within 48 hours.

6. Paid Services​

6.1 Subscription Services​

iroo world offers the following monthly subscription plans. Local taxes and final billing terms are displayed in the Apple App Store or Google Play checkout before purchase.

• Subscriptions will automatically renew 24 hours before expiration, unless you cancel in advance.
• Cancellation: iOS users go to "App Store → Account → Subscriptions"; Android users go to "Google Play → Payments & Subscriptions → Subscriptions."
• Prices may be adjusted; iroo world will notify you in advance via email or in-app notification.
• When a free trial is offered, the trial end time and terms for automatic conversion to paid service will be clearly displayed on the subscription interface.

6.2 In-App Purchases (IAP)​

• Virtual items (such as "Dialogue Energy," "Story Points") cannot be exchanged for legal currency and are non-refundable (unless otherwise provided by applicable law).
• Refund requests are subject to Apple/Google platform refund policies.

7. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability​

1. AIGC Truthfulness & Accuracy Disclaimer: All AI-generated content (AIGC) provided by iroo world is automatically produced by algorithms. All AIGC content on the platform is entirely fictional, intended solely for entertainment purposes, and should absolutely not be regarded as objective facts, professional advice, or reflections of any real persons or events. Due to the current limitations of machine learning technology, AIGC is highly likely to produce "AI hallucinations" containing inaccurate, biased, misleading, or absurd information. iroo world expressly makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the truthfulness, accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of AIGC.
2. Decision-Making Reliance Disclaimer: iroo world strongly advises you not to use AIGC in any scenario requiring rigorous fact-checking (such as medical, legal, academic, financial, etc.). iroo world shall not be liable for any decisions you make or losses you incur from relying on, disseminating, or using AIGC content.
3. "As-Is" Provision: All services and features of iroo world are provided on an "as-is" basis, and iroo world reserves the right to adjust platform rules and model parameters at any time.
4. iroo world is not responsible for service interruptions or data loss.
5. If your misuse of iroo world results in third-party claims, you shall indemnify iroo world.
6. If any provision of this agreement is found invalid under applicable law, the remaining provisions shall remain in effect (severability clause).

8. Applicable Law & Dispute Resolution​

• This agreement is governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction provide otherwise.
• Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China, unless applicable mandatory law requires another forum.
• EU users shall not lose any mandatory rights protection under the GDPR by virtue of this agreement.

9. Agreement Updates​

When material changes are made to this agreement, iroo world will notify you 30 days in advance through in-app notifications and your registered email. Continued use of iroo world constitutes acceptance of the updated agreement. Historical versions can be viewed in "Settings → Help & Legal → Agreement History."

10. Contact & Support​

In-app Help Center: "Profile → Help & Feedback", including quick access to FAQs, Privacy Policy, and this Agreement.

Appendix A: AI System Capability Disclosure (EU AI Act)​

The AI content generation system used by iroo world is a general-purpose AI system.

• Capabilities: Generates text story content based on user input
• Known Limitations: May produce factual errors (hallucinations), cultural biases, and inconsistent content quality
• Unsuitable Scenarios: This system is not suitable for professional domains such as medical, legal, or financial advice
• AIGC for Model Training: iroo world does not use user conversation data for AI model training by default; if you choose to enable data contribution, relevant data may be used to improve AI systems
• High-Risk Classification: iroo world has been assessed and does not qualify as a high-risk AI system under Annex III of the EU AI Act and is not required to register in the EU AI database.

Appendix B: Platform Compliance Statement​

Apple App Store​

• This Terms of Service is accessible directly from the App Store product page.
• The account deletion feature complies with App Store Review Guideline 5.1.1(v) (accessible within 3 taps).
• Content filtering policies are consistent with the app's age rating, complying with Review Guideline 1.2.
• Subscription purchase screens display the plan price, billing period, included monthly quota, renewal terms, and cancellation method before purchase.

Google Play Store​

• This Terms of Service is accessible directly from the Google Play product page.
• The account deletion feature is available in the app and is designed to support Google Play's Data Safety policy requirements. Account deletion requests may also be submitted through privacy@iroo.world.
• Subscription purchase screens display the plan price, billing period, included monthly quota, renewal terms, and cancellation method before purchase.

Multi-Language Versions​

Chinese and English versions of this agreement are available. If iroo world launches in additional markets requiring local-language terms, iroo world will provide the required language versions and keep them materially consistent.
